SHOW NOTES:
In this week’s Mind ReMapping Moment, I am joined by a messaging and visibility coach. A woman who helps other women master their message and sell high-value offers without being chained to social media. We are discussing the entrepreneurial situation where they can build themselves as a brand.
· What do I want to do going forward?
· How can I be visible and make a change?
· How can I share my message?
These and a lot more await you in this week’s special episode with Kelly Thompson, a Messaging and Visibility Coach who helps women master their message. In this episode, she will teach us how to overcome the fears of being visible from being invisible. Today, we will learn the importance of being transparent with our message concerning what we are offering.
The Fears of Being Visible
So often, we become comfortable with being invisible that we tend to feel the need to blend in with the other people around us. Especially when it comes to moms, they willingly sacrifice their needs. They want to ensure their family and kids are cared for. But we also need to understand that being visible does not just mean being seen but also wanting to make a difference in this world with what you have.
Disturbance comes from within
We often make scenarios within ourselves about what other people are going to think about us. Those are what we call disturbances, which are 100% self-created that we must not focus on because there is no way for us to know about those instincts. Instead of thinking about what others might think about yourself, think about how you feel. For us to be that someone, it has to come from the inside first; most of the time, we have to go up there and own it.
Words Matter
As an entrepreneur, your goal is to have something you want to share with others. If you are putting in your offer and the message is unclear, you will hear “No.” Hearing those rejections almost paralyzes us from moving forward. This is where we should take No as feedback that maybe they are not your target audience for the product. It could be that they’re not interested in what they think you are offering, not necessarily what you’re offering. We must remember that communication is vast, which comes with clarity; if you learn how to communicate effectively, you instantly become the most powerful in the world.

About Kelly Thompson
Kelly Thompson is an author, a speaker, and a host of the Genius in You Podcast. Her journey started right after her oldest daughter got engaged; that was her wake-up call. She began to think about what to do with her gifts and talents, so she started learning about website copywriting. Although she loves writing, she realized it wasn’t making enough money. So she began to learn about social media marketing and was fascinated with marketing and sales psychology. After implementing what she knew, she could attract clients and build a business aligned with her passion.
